I am a lover of coffee, cats, chocolate, and compelling fiction. I have been writing most of my life, but got serious in 2011. I write romantic paranormal/urban fantasy involving secrets, prophecies, and quests; mingled with adventure, mysteries, and suspense; searching for found family and true friends; sprinkled with darkness, danger, humor, and usually a cat or two.

I am a fan of a number of genres and authors, including J D Robb/Nora Roberts, Annette Marie, Patricia Briggs, Tanya Huff, Dorothy Gilman, Elizabeth Peters, Anne McCaffrey, and Mary Stewart to name a few.

At Kat-Tales.net, I believe every book has a unique story to tell. Each book is written to touch the heart, stir the mind, and offer glimpses into other people and places. My mission is to create a warm, inviting space where readers can explore a variety of narratives. These include my individual tales, and the collaborative projects I've been involved with. These books highlight a wide variety of paranormal/fantasy elements (ghosts, magic, paranormal talents, shifters, monsters of varying kinds), and public domain stories and fairytales retold from fresh perspectives.
